Premier Bathrooms spreads ‘aging-in-place’ message through Cesari Direct campaign

An AARP survey revealed that 90 percent of persons older than 65 would prefer to remain in their homes, but as they age accessibility problems can become an issue and make their age-in-place goal unattainable.

Premier Bathrooms (www.premier-bathrooms.com), the world’s leading provider of walk-in bathtubs, bathroom design and installation, is helping seniors and physically challenged consumers live more comfortably in their homes with a comprehensive array of attractive and functional walk-in bathtubs, showers and bath seats.

Seattle-based Cesari Direct, a full-service direct response marketing agency, recently crafted a series of short-form televisions spots designed to educate consumers, generate leads and spark a response to request a free informational kit on the variety and versatility of Premier’s walk-in bathtubs. Karen Grassley, the talented actor who portrayed “Ma” in Little House on the Prairie, was a fitting choice to headline the Premier Bathrooms television segments.

“Seniors - and many other consumers - have special needs,” said Ron Lynch, Cesari Direct’s Chief Creative Director who wrote and produced the dynamic television campaign. “Premier Bathrooms has responded to that need with its versatile walk-in bathtubs. Solutions for problems often exist but people are not always aware that products, or often simple changes, can be incorporated into the home and provide greater safety and accessibility. Premier Bathrooms has provided that safety and accessibility in a critical room in the home.”

AARP, formerly known as the American Association of Retired Persons, is the United States' largest organization for those 50 and older. It also recently disclosed that fewer than 10 percent of the nation's approximately 100 million housing units have features to make them universally accessible.

Since 1985, South Daytona, Florida-based Premier Bathrooms has been leading the way in helping seniors and other homeowners to consider ways their homes can be modified to adapt for current or future age-related concerns. The company, which specializes in customer care and project counseling, has transformed thousands of bathrooms, enabling people to regain and/or retain their independence. Premier Bathrooms also has outlets in Europe and Canada.
